From 3:00PM to 4:30PM

The American Band of Rhode Island, one of our nation’s premier adult community bands, will present a concert on Sunday, January 18 at 3PM at Salve Regina University’s Stanford White Casino Theatre, 9 Freebody St., Newport, RI. Admission: $6 The theme for the concert is: “Shades of Blue” featuring music by JS Bach, Ralph Vaughn Williams, Dwayne Milburn, John Mackey, Frank Ticheli, Brant Karrick and John Philip Sousa. The American Band is under the capable baton of Dr. Brian Cardany who is also the Associate Director of Bands at the University of Rhode Island.
