This beautiful colonial building was once the home of the renowned cabinet maker Christopher Townsen and is the most recent addition to the Newport Restoration Foundation's architectural collection. Not normally open to the public, come enjoy the chance to explore this remarkable home and the legacy of Newport furniture making as NRF staff offer informal tours of the house and neighborhood. We will also be selling autographed copies of "Extraordinary Vision: Doris Duke and the Newport Restoration Foundation." Light refreshments. Free, donations welcome.
