Harvest Fair & Joe Davies Folk Festival

Soule Homestead celebrates our 22nd annual Harvest Fair and Joe Davies Folk Festival featuring an array of local artisans and crafts people along with activities for the whole family to take part in during the course of two fun-filled days. Enjoy music and other engaging entertainment like sheep dog demonstrations; hay rides, face painting and children’s games, crafts and activities; rug braiding, basketry, spinning and loom weaving demonstrations; and you won’t want to miss Dale Perkins “Amazing Trick Horse Show”. There will also be interactive educational exhibits like learning about “Birds of Prey” and “New England Reptiles & Raptors” with Marla Isaac; “Native American Artifacts” with Randy Julius; South Coast Historical Society’s “Pirates of New England”. Browse the craft tents, enter the raffles and silent auction, and enjoy homemade soup, chili, baked goods & desserts… And, of course, two full days of live music at the Joe Davies Folk Festival included in the admission price. Music starts at 10:30am on Saturday and 11:00am on Sunday. The two-day folk music festival will feature 13 performers, with The Kennedys headlining on Saturday and Don White on Sunday. Other performers will include Diane Battistello, Chris Pahud, R.C. Bevans, The Rafters, Joanne Lurgio and Jed Marum on Saturday; Tom Irving, Lewis & Garrels, Bethel Steele, Matt & Shannon Heaton, Lissa Schneckenburger with Bethany Waikman on Sunday.
