Geoff Cook
Geoff Cook was born in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England, not too far north of London. He cut his radio teeth at Radio Fairfield, a hospital radio station in Bedfordshire.
Geoff moved to the USA in the late 1980s, as a counselor at Camp Horizons in Connecticut, and decided to stay in early 1990.
He worked at WECS-FM at Eastern Connecticut State University, in Willimantic, then 94.7FM WMAS in Springfield MA for overnights as well as stints at Radio 104 in Hartford, 99.3 when it was WERI-FM, 99.7X, and 100.3 The Hawk. Geoff joined WJZS in 2001, and can be heard on weekends, and seen at Blues on the Beach in the summer.
When away from radio, Geoff enjoys photographing commercial airliners.
